As I sit here reflecting on my PDE class on leadership and growth mindset, I can’t help but feel grateful for all the valuable lessons I’ve learned. This class has taught me that developing a growth mindset is crucial for achieving success in life and as a leader.
One of the most important things I’ve learned is that failure is not the end, but an opportunity to learn and grow. As someone who used to fear failure, this lesson was particularly important for me. Now, I understand that it’s okay to make mistakes as long as I learn from them and use them to improve.
Another key takeaway for me was the importance of self-awareness. By understanding my behavior and motivations, I can identify my strengths and weaknesses and work on developing them. This class taught me to challenge my fixed beliefs and develop a more positive and growth-oriented mindset.
To put these lessons into practice, I have been engaging in 30-day challenges. These challenges have allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, try new things, and develop the discipline and persistence needed for success. By setting small goals for myself and working towards achieving them, I am building a growth mindset and developing positive habits.
Practicing gratitude, embracing challenges, seeking feedback, and developing a love for learning are all habits that I’ve been working on developing. These habits have helped me develop a positive and growth-oriented mindset and have brought me one step closer to achieving my goals.
Finally, I want to share a resource that has been particularly helpful for me: the “How to Fail” podcast. This podcast features interviews with successful people who share their stories of failure and how they overcame them. Listening to this podcast has been a great source of inspiration for me and has helped me stay motivated as I continue to work on developing my growth mindset.
In conclusion, my PDE class on leadership and growth mindset has been incredibly valuable for me. Through this class, I’ve learned to embrace failure, develop self-awareness, engage in 30-day challenges, and develop positive habits. I’m excited to continue working on these habits and developing my growth mindset as I move forward in my personal and professional life.
